Department of the Army

Posted on September 24th, 2009.

Dear Dr. Roever:

On behalf of LTG Odierno, the III Corps and Fort Hood Commander, I wish to express my sincerest appreciation and heart-felt thanks for your presentations to our Fort Hood spouses and Soldiers during your recent visit, 3-5 May 2007. We received wonderful feedback from spouses and from leaders who attended your sessions.

Everyone expressed gratitude for your service to our nation; your motivational speaking skills; and your wonderful personal stories that inspire and comfort the spouses of our deployed Soldiers during this challenging time.

May your service to our military and to our nation continue to grow in the coming years. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Very Sincerely,
Philip F. Battaglia
Colonel, GS
Rear Deputy Commander
